Last updated Oct 28, 2026. These Terms govern your use of Instagram Journey AI ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. What the service is
Instagram Journey AI lets you upload your photos and get a set of 4 AI-generated receipt images (PNG) in the style of the "instagram journey" trend: the buyer's photo and the numbers the buyer types, printed as a shop receipt. Results are delivered as a set of 4 PNG images, in portrait (1024×1536) or square (1024×1024), with no watermark.
The AI model. Images are generated with GPT Image 2.5, an AI image model made by OpenAI, which we access through a third-party API provider. We do not train or operate the model ourselves.
Unofficial tool. Independent tool. Not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. All names and trademarks belong to their owners.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity under it.
- Do not create accounts to get around limits or bans.
3. Photos you upload
Upload only photos of yourself, or of adults who have given you permission to use their photo this way. Every upload and every image you make must also follow the content standards in section 4.
4. Acceptable use and content standards
The full rules are in our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these Terms. In summary, you must not upload, generate or attempt to generate any of the following. These rules apply to every photo you upload and to the image that results.
- Sexual or NSFW content. No nudity, sexual acts, sexualised poses or fetish content, whether real or generated.
- Violence and gore. No depictions of serious injury, blood, torture, cruelty to people or animals, weapons used to threaten, or content that promotes or glorifies violence or self-harm.
- Hate speech. No content that attacks, demeans or incites hatred against people because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or age, and no hate symbols.
- Child safety. No photos of anyone under 18, and no content of any kind that sexualises or endangers a child. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is banned absolutely. We remove it, close the account and report it to the relevant authorities where the law requires.
- Deepfakes and impersonation. No photos of celebrities, public figures or any person whose permission you do not have. Do not use an image or video to pretend to be someone else, to put a real person in a situation they did not agree to, or to deceive anyone about who made an image or video or what it shows.
- Copyright and trademark infringement. No photos, characters, logos or artwork that you do not have the right to use, including copyrighted characters and third-party brand marks. See also copyright and takedown.
You must also not use the service to break the law, to harass or defraud anyone, to Receipt images must not be presented as an official Instagram document, as verified account statistics, or as proof of anyone’s follower count or account age.. Do not try to break or overload the service, bypass limits, payments or safety checks, scrape it, or resell access to it.
5. Enforcement
If an upload or an image breaks these standards, we may take one or more of these steps, depending on how serious it is and whether it has happened before:
- Block the render. The upload is refused or the image is not delivered. Credits for a blocked render are returned automatically.
- Remove content. The image is deleted from our systems and its download link stops working.
- Warn. We tell you which rule was broken.
- Suspend or close the account. For serious or repeated violations. Credits on an account closed for a serious violation are forfeited, to the extent the law allows.
- Report. Child sexual abuse material and credible threats of harm are reported to the relevant authorities where the law requires.
If you think we got a decision wrong, you can appeal within 14 days. See appeals. The full ladder of actions is in enforcement actions.
6. Reporting content
Anyone can report an image made with Instagram Journey AI, whether or not they have an account. Email support@instagramjourneyai.com with the subject "Content report" and include:
- a link to the image, or where you saw it;
- which rule you believe it breaks;
- if it shows you without your permission, a statement that you are the person shown.
Reports are confidential. We aim to review them within 3 business days, and within hours where a child may be at risk. See response times. Reports of copyright infringement follow the process on the copyright and takedown page.
7. How we moderate
- Fixed templates. You cannot type a prompt. The receipt layout, the stickers and the surface come from our templates, which limits what an image can show.
- Consent before every render. You confirm that the photo is of you, of a consenting adult, with no celebrities or public figures and no minors.
- Automated checks. Uploads and results pass through the safety filters of the GPT Image 2.5 model and of our AI image provider. A render that fails them is blocked.
- Human review. A person reviews reported content and appeals. We do not routinely look at your photos or images otherwise.
- Limits. We may cap the number of images per account per day.
Details are in content moderation. No moderation system catches everything. You remain responsible for what you upload and for how you use your images.
8. Credits and payments
- Each set of 4 images is paid for with credits (2 credits per set). The cost is shown before you start.
- Credits are reserved when you start a render. If the render fails or is blocked, they are returned to your account automatically.
- Packs are one-off purchases: Single, 10 credits for $6.99; Trio, 30 credits for $16.99; Duo Pack, 50 credits for $29; Crew Pack, 250 credits for $99; Studio Pack, 600 credits for $199; Label Pack, 1800 credits for $499. Current prices are on the pricing page.
- Plans are subscriptions that renew automatically until you cancel: Basic, 100 credits a month for $29.90 a month or 1200 credits a year for $299 a year; Pro, 200 credits a month for $49.90 a month or 2400 credits a year for $499 a year; Studio, 450 credits a month for $99.90 a month or 5400 credits a year for $999 a year. Each payment adds that period's credits to your account; a yearly plan adds the whole year's credits at once. You can cancel at any time from your account (Manage billing); the plan then stops renewing at the end of the period you paid for, and you keep the credits already added.
- Credits never expire, including credits from a plan you cancelled. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, except as set out in the refund policy.
- Payments are handled by Waffo. We never see or store your card number. Prices are in US dollars, and tax may be added at checkout depending on where you are.
- We may apply usage limits, such as a maximum number of images per day, to keep the service available for everyone.
9. Your images
- AI results are not perfect. Faces, hands, and the exact shape of letters and digits can differ from your photo and from one render to the next. No particular likeness or result is guaranteed.
- We do not claim ownership of your photos. You may download and share the images you make.
- Images have no sound.
- You are responsible for where and how you post, and for following each platform's rules, including labels for AI-generated content.
- Every image is AI-generated. Do not present it as an unedited photo where that would mislead someone.
- Do not use an image or video to deceive anyone, to impersonate anyone, to Receipt images must not be presented as an official Instagram document, as verified account statistics, or as proof of anyone’s follower count or account age., or to suggest the image is official or endorsed by a brand.
- You give us permission to process your photo and to store and deliver your image only as needed to provide the service. See the privacy policy.
10. Copyright and takedowns
If you believe something on this site infringes your rights, see copyright and takedown.
11. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about the results, the likeness of any image or the availability of the service.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
13. Ending your use
You can stop using Instagram Journey AI at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. The new version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
